Special Lenses and Coatings How We Can Customize Your Lenses
Polarized lenses help to decrease glare and make it easier for you to see while outside on a sunny day.
High Index Lenses
These lenses can provide strong prescription strength, but are much lighter and more comfortable than thick traditional lenses.
If you are farsighted, our optician may recommend aspheric lenses. These lenses decrease the magnified appearance of the eyes that traditional lenses often cause.
This coating protects your lenses from scratching. This addition is great for those who are rougher with their glasses or who work outside in the elements.
This coating helps to reduce glare and reflection, making it easier to see through your lenses.
UV coating protects the eyes from harmful UV rays and helps prevent the development of cataracts and retinal damage.
Kalichrome coating improves vision in dim lighting. This specialized coating is great for patients who have trouble seeing in darker spaces.
We Also Have Prescription Sunglasses
For patients who would rather wear eyeglasses than contacts, prescription sunglasses are a great way to protect your eyes while outside. Too much sun exposure can lead to retinal damage, cataracts, and other eye conditions that can negatively impact your vision. With prescription sunglasses, you can protect your eyesight while still being able to see clearly.
